911 turbo 50 anniversary
Has anyone successfully secured an allocation for the Porsche 911 turbo 50 anniversary? Any thoughts on expected desirability?

It's a lot of extra coin for cosmetic only stuff. A bit disappointing for me compared to the 991 Exclusive car which had a HP bump, lots of carbon body kit, so some engineering effort. Unlike the 992 which just has some lazy marketing dept tweaks.

There’s nothing particularly “special” about that special editions.

A fine and expensive example of the very best in "Badge Engineering".

Missed opportunity. Watched the video and eye-rolled at the "Taycan Turbo" mentions. W. I'm not a shareholder.

just had a call of my dealer with an allocation really dont know whether to take it. I feel it may deop like a stone when the 992.2 turbo s comes out . Be interesting to hear other people's opinions on this

Do you mind sharing whether the dealer is asking for ADM or any sort?

I think the 992 Turbos will hold their value better than previous generations because they are the best performing ones so far, there are lots of people that just don’t want the added complexity and weight of the upcoming hybrid drivetrains.
The car is already too fast for public roads and on the heavy side so more weight and speed isn’t really necessary although less turbo lag would be nice but not at the price of hybrid.
I am happy that I have the last ICE non hybrid TTS and just bought a RS5 Competition as a daily which is also going hybrid next year, I’ve extended the warranty on both cars and will keep them for as long possible.
New hybrid cars will be available long into the future and the technology will only get better and the weight should go down, at this point they are the ones depreciating fastest.
So. I think you should take the allocation unless you’re excited to go hybrid with the 992.2

Additional Dealer Markups. Did they ask for MSRP plus some markups or ask you to buy watches or some other stuff? Or it is just MSRP of the car?
Btw I think you should take it if it's a MSRP deal, unless you want the rumored 992.2 manual Turbo.
