So long as they repair it appropriately, I think I would certainly take her. What a beautiful spec!!

Its not even a metal body panel. Manufacturers can and do frequently repair or replace bumpers damaged in transit without you even knowing.

Last year I had a rear bumper damaged on a brand new Porsche by an idiot at the PPF shop that must have run the pressure nozzle and gouged it in two places. This was a high end shop and he works with some great outside body shop/paint specialists and was able to repair and paint with paint meter readings to show as new. Whether anyone could ever detect it or not, I’m not sure but it came out perfectly.
A good shop will get it done right.

Essentially taking it at a discounted price commensurate with the worst case repair option and some other pre-paids, no ADM either. I don’t know what the typical dealer profit margins are on these, but it’s the least they ever got out of a TTS- put it to you that way.

I was in the same situation last month with the same color car and all I got was $1,700 off and crested valve stem caps.
Either market is softening fast and they were scared you really mightve walked away and/or you are a master negotiator.
Happy you got our car!

So $5k off, 2nd year service, wheel and tire insurance and they're gonna fix it. Better than that? You sure it wasn't you who tried to pry the hood? 😄

So what happened to the frunk that it would not open with the button on the door sill or the remote?? Bad mechanism? Odd for it to fail on an almost new car. And isn’t there a hidden cable release in the front fender well to pull on? Why pry it?

You gotta share what the dealer and you agreed upon. It's only fair haha.
And yeah, TBH it's only a front bumper you'll have rock chips on it soon. Check your rear rocker panels after 1k miles, they'll be littered with rock chips on the factory PPF and some that even creep up on the actual 1/4 panel.

The interesting thing is that there is apparently a right tool, other than a set of jumper cables on the fusebox terminal, that can be used to release a closed frunk. Inquiring minds want to know...
