Default Taycan Turbo GT 1/4 Mile

If the Taycan Turbo GT does this, what will the 992.2 Turbo S be like?

It's not my car. I simply reposted someone else's video. However, the car is completely stock.

Porsche usually makes the turbo S 911 the fastest car 0 to 60 and quarter-mile, but I don’t know whether they’re going to be able to achieve that this time. Let me rephrase that. As much as I would like them to make it this fast I can’t see any way shape or form that the new 911 Turbo S will be able to do a 9.2 second quarter mile.

Have you been in an electric 9-sec car before? It’s nauseating, not in a good way. And completely quiet and soulless.

The 992.2 TTS it’s expected to come in at 710hp. I expect it’ll do solid 9s consistently, stock.

No way the new TTS will do that, sorrryyy.

That takes 1100hp (crank) in a TTS.

If you want to do that, you need to stage4 your 992.1 and good tires!

I had a few Tesla's, and while the plaids were fast, after a few weeks they were boring, supercar speed but not braking or handling, and no noise, just were not for me.

I have a Tesla model S plaid as my daily driver.
as much fun as it is to punch it once in a while my turbo s is way more fun

I don’t get nauseous from it, but it does put a significant amount of strain on your anterior neck muscles if your head is not back against the headrest.

I almost threw up in an Plaid. Candidly, Im not much of a fan of roll coasters and this definitely felt like the acceleration from one.

I'm looking at a Taycan Turbo GT for a DD, but can't get past the cheesy noise - can this be turned off? Sounds ridiculous.

I’ve given countless people demonstrations of the acceleration in the Tesla. I’ve had a few people remark that it is making them sick, including my daughter.
I got to say that the turbo is close for a short period of time maybe one second. The thing is that the Tesla keeps pulling. Again that’s not to say that our turbo cars are not very very fast and very, very capable.
as I said before the TTS are definitely more fun.

yes sound is optional and can be turned off - except at low speeds where it is "on" for pedestrian notification - I drove 38k+ miles on my 2020 Taycan Turbo with the sound disabled - never missed it.

How many times can the Taycan Turbo GT (or any eCar) repeat these acceleration numbers before the battery requires a recharge? And how long does it take for a full recharge? Just curious.

cheers,
