Default Front wheel scoring marks

So I had my car at the Porsche dealership on May 31, 2024. The purpose was to get my summer tires put on my exclusive wheel set. I had all season tires on my car, and I purchased a set of wheels to put those all seasoned tires on. And then switch the summer tires back to the original wheels that I bought the car with.
I got the car back on Friday afternoon and I drove it to Cars And Coffee on Saturday.
Saturday afternoon I was looking at the wheels, and I noticed that both front wheels were scored. I realize that this is not an uncommon thing. It had happened to my previous 911 Turbo S by the prior owner. I had the wheels repainted and I never personally had It happened to me after the repair

The question I have, is it possible that the Porsche dealership scored these wheels when changing the tires and wheels over? in other words did their tire machine do this damage or was it just a coincidence that it happened the day after on both wheels in the same spot?

Do a lot of you guys have the scoring on the wheels.

I wash my car weekly and it wasn’t there during the week.

Just looking for opinions.

thanks

Certainly possible, and quite probable.

Do you have pics?

Probably from rocks, the machine doesn't touch the inside of the barrel like that. its brutal, my rims are destroyed inside. Looks like the orbit of the planets around the sun, but all aligned parallel.

The single white line.

Holy crap. The wheels look awful in these pictures. I just washed the car and I swear to the naked eye they look clean and in good shape other than the scratch/score.

They were not there during the week when I washed it last.

I went for a drive with some guys today and two other turbo S cars. Both had scoring.
Maybe it's just bad luck?

The wheel machine at the dealer looked state-of-the-art and brand new. I thought they were touchless machines and pretty much error-proof.

That scoring is not from a wheel machine. It’s from rocks. Mine got it within a thousand miles of driving. Was going to get it repaired and then realized that it is inevitably going to happen again so I’ve learned to live with it.

Tire machines don't touch that part/side of the barrel. I'd wager rocks.

I guess it’s just bad luck. The car is almost 3 years old and didn’t have it until a few days ago.

I am thinking that I will just maybe fill it in with a black magic marker for now. I don’t know if it pays to repaint the wheels if it’s going to happen again.
