Default Rennline phone mount

https://www.suncoastparts.com/product/pkpm0197.html

Anybody has experience with this? Does it hold the phone via MagSafe? Easy to install yourself?

Thanks.

I have experience with it my old 991 which i presume is same in 992. It's not hard to install just pry off trim piece and add screws. Held in place by magnet but you can add the extra magnet for larger surface
The problem is any spirited driving or judicious use of the throttle the phone goes flying and that was 991 turbo with less power/tq than 992 turbo.
The magnet is not that strong to hold it hard driving as i said but it's inexpensive and it does not block air vents

Where are you charging from? Center console? How did you route the cable?

The redline sticks on with tape but you have to remove part of the dash to get to where you’re going to put the tape. I didn’t really like their implementation for the 992. I did have their old unit in my 991.
I ended up just putting a MagSafe charger on the center console just to the right of the shift **** and routing the cord to the passenger side. Well space charger.
I used reusable double-sided tape, so it won’t leave any marks and it’s easy to take off if I get sick of it.
It fits their perfectly, and doesn’t interfere with anything. Since I took this picture, I did reroute the wire towards the front.
Like I said, it’s easy to remove if I change my mind.
