For those of you in the Porche game for a while, should I be patient to see if the prices drop due to hybrid in 2024? Or pull the trigger? I know it’s a depreciating asset, just trying to reduce the % as much as possible.

Also, I can’t find an allocation anywhere, I’ve called a bunch of dealers, they all give me the same run around of 18-24 months. If anyone can give me a name with one available that would be awesome as well.
For all those saying they won't buy a Hybrid, you're all liars. 918 Spyder is a hybrid. Do you hate that car? When the car comes out everybody will be salivating and knocking down doors as usual. You'll be wowed by the reviews by everyone except Nick Murray. Top Gear, carwow, Joe Achilles and hell even Schmeeee will praise its glory. You'll bite.

Also paying a tad over sticker for a car with 4000 miles sounds fairly realistic. Inventory is limited, and supply on Turbo S cars may be meh in the next year or so. Maybe slightly better but good luck with an allocation.

Also, a car with 4000 miles, a dog could have p**ped in there. Check the interior for wear, the side bolsters, the windshield, the front and rear bumpers and underbelly for scrapes. I'd be nervous AF.

I'm at a point where I may just order a 2023 at sticker and wait for it - could be that the last year of the ICE cars will be the best until the hybrid glitches get sorted.
How the Hell you gonna get an allocation for a MY 2023? Hope you can find one somewhere.
Also these are more realistic prices I'm seeing in this thread for CPO cars.

Agreed - enjoy working with Ron.

Some people are posting luck with finding dealers taking orders like that. The dealer I bought my 991.2 TTS from said they would look kindly on my previous customer status and *work with me* on a new build. Who knows what that means...

Just to put some things in perspective here. I paid $190,000 for my 2019 991.2 GT3RS that had 300 miles which had an MSRP of $220,000. The price included CPO, it included 2 year/20,000 mile service (cost was $3,200), it included private enclosed trailer to my residence that was 3 states away. There was no trade.

This was year 2020. I understand market has changed but imagine it changing in the other direction and going back to the way it was.

My RS now has 11,000 miles and trade in value I received recently was around $240,000. Thats a profit of almost 30% in 2.5 years. I dont think any investment returned that lol.

I have mentioned that on multiple threads in the past
I had a 991.2 GTR3S GR WP 224k sticker , after 10 months of ownership with 1 k miles , I had hard time getting buyers .Sold it for 198 K . The lowest offer was like 170 k
these were normal markets
amazing how people have short term memory loss

The new RS is 300k range fully kitted up with just performance mods, with ADM rates will be 400-525k. Short term memory loss people may have, but the future ain't bringing those prices back to those levels either with what's avail. There was a period of time you could buy a Newman Daytona for 20k as well 😂.
