Seems like the best tts deal I can get is a 2022 for 263 with cpo or 257k without with 4,000 miles. Jacksonville is trying to sell a 2023 for 300k, 50 K over, I’m not going to do that.
For those of you in the Porche game for a while, should I be patient to see if the prices drop due to hybrid in 2024? Or pull the trigger? I know it’s a depreciating asset, just trying to reduce the % as much as possible.
Also, I can’t find an allocation anywhere, I’ve called a bunch of dealers, they all give me the same run around of 18-24 months. If anyone can give me a name with one available that would be awesome as well.
Personally go with the CPO option IF the spec is what you want. It is worth it. You are probably buying literally at the top or the start of a downward turn (IMO). I would not pay over for new but hey it is your money. Waiting for a car on a bunch of speculation, well you could be waiting. Also why buy new tech the very first year, usually comes with gremlins. Just my $.02
Buy now, but you didn't mention the MSRP of these cars. If the MSRP was $248500 like my car was, spending $263k isn't horrible. If the MSRP was around $220k, then... that seems like way too much. Live for today. If you wait for a car on an allocation, you may never, ever get one. Life is a lot shorter than we think it is. Just do it man! I so love my car, I wouldn't want to wait a really long time now... to get one, if I didn't have one.

OMG... then run down to this dealers showroom, at a breakneck pace, and buy this car if it's the color combo you want! It's probably gone by now but if it's not....LIFE IS SO DARN SHORT. You'll be so happy you did this.

you are thinking about it in an opposite direction to most people
if they bring hybrid to the 2024 , it will increase the price of the pure ICE.
why is that
so far hybrid technology has increased significantly HP and TQ but at the cost of significant weight gain .Look at C63 AMG gained almost 700 pounds by implementing hybrid tech in the new redesign
can Porsche do it better than other companies ? probably yes , but it seems the hybrid technology needs some time to shed weight , so probably few years down the line hybrid technology will be great
what effect weight gain have on the car ? I will leave that up to the experts on RL to explain
The most successful implementation to date of a hybrid system without huge weight penalty is the Mclaren Artura which at 3300lbs is lighter than an ICE TTS
It's a long guess for anyone. I started negotiating with my local dealer on a CPO 2022 TTS with 2K miles at $40K over, and decided to pass and wait for the market correction - dealer sold the car the next day. I'm at a point where I may just order a 2023 at sticker and wait for it - could be that the last year of the ICE cars will be the best until the hybrid glitches get sorted.
