Default M-Engineering Dominates Pikes Peak International Hill Climb: 10 supported Porsches

M-Engineering was back at the mountain again for 2022. This was a special year for PPIHC as it was their 100th year running. While the fog was quite thick with poor visibility and wet patches of road, some solid times were posted.

M-Engineering was contracted again this year by Porsche Motorsport North America to support 6 of their GT4 Clubsport cars with full trackside calibration support. With more knowledge, time, and experience tuning Porsches for specialty races and overall calibration proficiency, it was an easy choice to choose M-Engineering once again over the competition. Our calibration team is world-renowned for holding numerous records in many categories across a multitude of Porsche platforms and chassis in all kinds of race settings. With our custom written software, M-Tuner, we are the leaders in 992 and 982 ECU tuning.

As a refresher or if you are new to our product, M-Tuner is a flash-at-home utility and software that allows end users to tune their cars from the comfort of their homes. That means no visits to "dealers" in the tuning network to return back to stock or additional fees for doing so. Flashing takes around 4 or 5 minutes. You can tune the car with a variety of different files and updates are always free and can always be done at your own leisure. We have maps for all basic bolt-ons and ProTuning available for those running bigger turbos. We have support for pump gas such as 91, 93, and we can also do 100 octane and E30. All of our maps include OEM engine safeties and full datalogging capabilities. There's no hiding what your car is doing unlike some of the other tuning solutions that flash your canned map over a server and allow very minimal or no consumer insight into what your car is actually doing. Some of our unique custom features include removal of auto start/stop, raising of the rev limiter, PSE valve operation override, and loud cold start removal. We are also the only tuning company to offer PDK2 tuning that enhances the shifting experience of the PDK2 transmission and allows you to run more torque. We are the Porsche tuning authority and provide the most premium calibrations and products available on the market with unmatched customer service. Don't settle for any of the cheaper tuning options that leave you in the dark in the long run. "Buy it nice or buy it twice" as they say.

Well done guys!! PMNA’s backing is such a great statement of the quality behind the product. And the results are the icing on the cake.

Does this mean Porsche will honor the factory warranty if we get your tune 🤓 (kidding but wish I wasn’t). Congrats on all your success!

Thanks for the kind words, y'all!

With a click of a few buttons you are back to a bone stock ECU file with a verified CVN and CALID. It's that easy...

:P

The PDK2 computer requires removal of the module for flashing at this time. It's a fairly easy module to get to, and takes about 15 minutes or so. It's not too bad.

I hope you guys can get the in-car PDK flashing sorted out. I would love to get the ECU tuning but not w/o the PDK to go with it. However, shipping the PDK module back and forth (twice - once before the dealer visit and then again after the visit) every time the car needs to go in for service is a huge inconvenience.

We completely understand and agree! If OBD flashing was possible, believe me when I say we'd have it released for PDK2! It's possible it may become doable in the future, but currently it's still an unknown.
