JMO...

1. Resale... Yellow cars stay on the classifieds.

2. There are better Yellow's

3. Racing Yellow, or Yellow in general doesn't work on the TTS... I'm a big fan of Lava Orange, but it looks gross on a TT/TTS.

Just my opinion.

Food for thought: according to Hagerty, Yellow gets top dollar, though it can be harder to move.

The same rationale applies to the MT.

It will get top dollar, but MT are harder to move.

Had a Racing yellow 992 4S and love the colour. If I had not had this colour before I would certainly have picked it for my Turbo S, but went with CWM with no regrets.
I prefer racing yellow to speed yellow as I feel speed yellow is not so bright and a little dull.

I personally just don't like yellow. A little goes a long way. I'd never want to delete yellow from the universe, but I just don't care for it.

My paint to sample color of choice, if I ever do that, is a particular shade of metallic purple, one I've never seen on a Porsche. That probably won't help resale value but ask me if I care....

I like yellow, but a nice purple can be beautiful as well. So many great colors to choose from.

I'm not a huge yellow fan, but if I did get yellow, Signal Yellow is way, way nicer than Speed Yellow or Racing Yellow...

Not mine, but a friends at a recent track day.

I think it comes from the old Pac Man mentality... Yellow doesn't seem cool for a car.
And yet... I followed a yellow 991 on the highway the other day and realized how cool it looked. i don't remember seeing one in the flesh before - now, I'm sold. What a great color.

If there was more of them at the dealership, I think you'd see an increase order for them.

I can only offer that I personally have a deep dislike for the color yellow. I would not like for there to be NO yellow in the world, but a very little bit of it goes a very long way.

What I like even less is dull boring colors that are black, white, some shade of grey, or close to the grey scale. I like seeing bright cheerful colors, even yellow, in preference
to seeing another vehicle that's some shade of grey, off white, beige, tan, or some other shade that dirt can be found in. I like colors that burn the retinas!

It really depends on the hue of yellow and the car. Certain yellows work with certain cars and certain ones do not. At the moment the 992 + Racing Yellow isn't that great. The yellow on that 993 tts? Looks amazing.

I’m not a huge yellow guy, but I’d still do it on a 2nd or 3rd Pcar. Just not my first pick.

Python Green GT3 on the other hand! 😍

I would like to buy a new 2025 992.2 Targa in signal Orange - which was the color of my 1970 911 T Targa. But for some reason Porsche does not include this classic Porsche color as a PTS color even though I see it sometimes in Porsche marketing photographs.

and it is different than the signal yellow that is available as a pts color today.

Signal Orange classic 1970’s 911 demand a premium even today. I will add that my 1970 Signal Orange Targa faded over time and it made matching paint on a panel that needed repainting. Maybe the factory knows this is a hard color to keep from fading over time and therefore does not offer it as a PTS color today.
