Locked in a 992 TTS Cab Today!
My PA called today and confirmed an allocation for my 2021 MY 992 TTS Cab. Locked it in today, just awaiting the “feasibility check” to be completed. Currently scheduled for early Aug delivery. So excited 🙂 Below is the URL to my build:

Wife says I’ll have to sell my current 991.2 TT, but can’t wait to drive the 992.

I doubt it. When quarterly allocations were allocated earlier in April my PA told me their dealership didn’t receive any TTS allocations, yet they have several build orders in the system. I understand he has been “working the system” with a few contacts at Porsche Group and received this allocation yesterday against the order I’ve had in for 4-5 months and it had to be finalized yesterday. Just happy I got it.

funny thing....reading the post Title "Locked in a 992TTS Cab Today" -- i actually thought the OP was in fact locked inside the car
given some of the alien behavior i've had happen, i wouldn't have been surprised
...and to my defense (of being an idiot) the corvette has had that exact issue (there are manual release levers in all corvettes for that very reason)

If you open to opinions..... personally i would eliminate the Lane Keep Assist, the Night Vision, Porsche Puddle lights, the Burmeister (given its a Cab), and Add the Sport Design Package (high gloss black) & Side Vents in high gloss black, or even better the Sport Design Package that comes with the Anthracite wheels
here is a YT on some of the options that might interest you:

Thanks for the input. Was able to get the side vent in HG black added. The sport design package was deleted as its on “quality hold” and no longer being offered. I’m a tech guy and like the LKA (have it on wife’s Macan S) and Hilton Head and surrounding areas are almost like a dark skys site. With the deer I may like the NV, but we’ll see 🙂

Yes, a 2021 MY build. I have an 8/6 delivery date on the Porsche “Track Your Dream” link. Says it’s in “pre-production”. But with the stories of production delays I’m just keeping my fingers crossed.
