My build locks on April 24th (July delivery) went from a 21 to 22 model. Exclusive Design Taillights, not sure if this includes the middle taillight. My Porsche Ambassador is checking with Porsche.

Middle is still red, even on the euro builds with Exclusive Design, we checked with Porsche factory
A lot of this is unusual from Porsche - Normally any price increases happen for the new model year - maybe those are already in effect and all allocations for '21s are now up? New color(s) and options don't usually show up mid-model year (although sometimes they do). I'm thinking any allocations from now on might be '22s? Never really see these type of changes from them 3 months into a new year.
Glad to hear wireless car play is included in the current model (mine is coming in May).

I also see a few other items that seem a little different:
Sport Chrono Package with Porsche Design Subsecond Clock (is this just a fancy new sport chrono dial?)
Remote Park Assist (bundled with surround view and lane change assist - remote park assist is interesting)
Exclusive Design Taillights (clear tail lights appears to be gone - is this different?)
Preparation for Roof Transport System (was this previously included if you got a sunroof? and you can get this without a sunroof?)
This is from the web site, of course didn't want to believe it but the factory confirmed it
Note: The function and design of the Exclusive Design Taillights correspond to those of the standard taillights. In conjunction with Aerokit for Carrera models, the third brake light is finished in Red. Turbo models also retain the third brake light in Red.
the biggest impactful change, besides the slight bump in base price, is the fact that the lightweight glass, will require a full commitment to the lightweight package, incl. rear seat delete - no bueno..
$1120 for Sport Chrono package. This in addition to the $3500 price bump....
EDIT: I guess it comes with a new clock. At least there is *something* out of it.
Yeah, I had the same reaction when first reading the info blurb on the new clock and I thought we were now gonna be charged extra or we don't get sport chrono and the mode selector dial - but the list of standard options still specifies Sport Chrono, so I think it's just a spiffy new PD clock for the low, low price of $1120 US. I'd probably pass on that option.

It confirms that the lightweight noise insulated glass is tied to the lightweight package - it can't be ordered separately and now is not available at all for the Carrera.
The only thing I'm sad about missing out on in my 2021 model is the option for roof rack support since I didn't get a sunroof and therefore lack those mounting tabs.
Anyway, now, I get to look forward to the MY 2023 configurator. At some point the upgrades will be enough to make me think about trading-in - but not there yet

That was my post on the 992 forum, haha.
I think you are right though - since sports Chrono is listed as standard, even though the sports Chrono option blurb says the mode dial doesn't come standard unless that option is chosen. They fail to mention that this does not apply to the TT/TTS, but I think you may be correct.
For you - especially with a PTS car - I personally wouldn't think of trading in until at least a 992.2 comes out. And I'm usually a trade in the car once a year kind of guy.
