Default Changes on NA Configurator

Was looking at the newly live 992 GT3 configurator and noticed some changes to the 992 TTS configurator today as well. Base price up $3500, availability of wireless car play, new sport chrono options (among others). Also noticed that the lightweight and noise insulated glass is no longer a standalone option (apparently now requires the lightweight package)?

Full lightweight buckets are also being offered now, as well..... Shark Blue.

Lightweight glass is only available as an option for the TTS

PTS list has been updated and pre-approved color list has been significantly expanded

PCM slightly modified. Window buttons are now matte instead of glossy.

Custom center console is an option

Night blue metallic is being phased out after 11/2021

I just got my allocation today and working through the PTS list. There are a couple on my radar. Price bump is a bummer - there is nothing great to justify it. Hopefully some of the small problems with the post-COVID cars will be addressed.

I tried to create a TTS build with the lightweight glass as a standalone option and the configurator returns an error saying that the option cannot be added. NBD I just found it interesting.

Was hoping they would add optional Michelins as well but they did not. Horses for courses I guess. Cheers.

I think it may be through the lightweight package and not standalone.

So for those of us waiting for their allocation to lock, are we forced to reconfigure under the new system?

I have a build that locks in 2 weeks, my agreement with dealer is just a flat X% discount off msrp, so the window sticker will have a higher price when it gets built in late May and delivered in July?

No, I noticed my TYD showed 3/30 as "Date Ordered" when I clicked Track Your Dream, so it looks like they updated the order based on the new system, but no changes to your configuration. If you like anything new, you can obviously call and add an option, but not sure if everyone who is waiting for build to lock now pays a higher MSRP across the base/options.

Thanks for sharing.
They have changed the name to clear taillights to exclusive design tailights. Unclear if it's same or if they added small touch like illuminated side gills.
I would hope you can add the wireless car play by a software update.

Sounds like it. But if your allocation is a '21 it will likely stay a '21.

It's supposedly confidential and for internal use only. At least that's what it says across the top of the sheets. So I don't want to burn my dealer posting it. Of course you can always ask the dealer and they can send one to you.

Now you pay extra for wireless Carplay? I don't remember buying that and wireless Carplay works in my 2021.

I also see a few other items that seem a little different:

Sport Chrono Package with Porsche Design Subsecond Clock (is this just a fancy new sport chrono dial?)
Remote Park Assist (bundled with surround view and lane change assist - remote park assist is interesting)
Exclusive Design Taillights (clear tail lights appears to be gone - is this different?)
Preparation for Roof Transport System (was this previously included if you got a sunroof? and you can get this without a sunroof?)
