Dealers told me they are all taken for the year. It would be well over a year to get one. You may need to call around and see if someone backed out of their build.

i suggest getting chummy with more than one dealership, and focus on higher-volume stores. I live in OK and this worked for me when a CA dealer reached out with an allocation. I was on his "list."

It's a lot of work. Expect several to ghost you. Count on a lot of negative pushback. A lot of dead ends. Some empty promises. Have patience and hope you get lucky. It's very frustrating.

I have a turbo allocation for June delivery, but I’m located in Canada.

Zero discounts. A discount in this area is a pipe dream. Like Cheech and Chong type. You'll be lucky to be some pretty sales lady's 5th on the list for a base Turbo.

"Sir, if you'd like to wait for 14 months, we have free coffee in the waiting area."

If you purchase a lot of Porsche's you can get a discount, but if you walk into a dealership with no history buying your first tts, it's not happening these days

Thanks all, I've been told there are spots coming up in May. Fingerers crossed. The worst dealership is with attitude in the parts where I live is Bellevue. I've brought my Cayenne from interstate and they are super helpful with shipping and prices. Unfortunately the the dealership I have brought the Cayenne has no allocations for a while.

If a high volume dealership doesn't have unspoken-for allocations then they simply don't have allocations - help them understand that you're serious and keep your fingers crossed for when the next round of allocations are handed out. I doubt it's attitude - all dealerships would LOVE to sell you a car - but given the scarcity of 911 allocations, and especially in your local market, I don't expect you'll be able to negotiate much of a discount. I'll admit that I paid MSRP at Bellevue for my built-to-spec TTS.

Now I am scared to death.

First salesperson (bought two cars there) says I am #5 and could be delivered by early next year. I am good with that. Then three weeks later sales manager gives me a look and says deep into 2022 for my allocation. Then I read threads like this...

I really was hoping to get an allocation for a early 2022 delivery. I agree with most this is an MSRP kind of deal. Higher-echelon kind of stuff. But I totally think the 992 TS is completely worth it.

I was first at my smallish dealer and got my allocation today. Delivery for August. I believe this will be car 4 or 5 for them this year, but I could be wrong.

#5 on the list is gonna be tough for an early 2022 delivery, I have to say. I'd say mid-late 2022 is more realistic, but every dealer is different.

My advice is to keep trying. Reach out multiple times to multiple dealers. Be professionally persistent. These guys (my experience only so don't throw stones) is that these guys are lazy and anything you can do to make the job easier for them is welcome (by most). Even if you're not on top of the list, your persistence may make you the most likely prospect at the precise moment an allocation becomes available, either through the mother ship or via a cancellation. Keep pushing nicely. Good luck to you!
