Thank you to Shane at Porsche Nashua. A++ experience. Shout out to Vs Trucking these guys know how to move vehicles.
Landed at Q-Care Car where it will be ceramic coated and full body film, tinted and loved. First drive planned for approx 1-week. Looking forward to seeing how the lighting changes the color once she’s out in the wild.

It’s holding up the track duty like a charm with 15 track days so far. I am on my third set of brake pads. I could not find proper track pads locally so I am still running the stock units and they handle track duty quite fine, I am very impressed with what they can do for OE brakes. Looking forward to trying proper track pads next season. I wore down the stock PZ4 in just 4 track days and I am currently on my second set of 991.2 GT3RS PSC2(N2) tires. I’ve finally learned and dialled in the alignment and pressures to get 7~8 days out of the tires. This car is a great all rounder.

CanAutM3, I tracked my first 992 Turbo S last year, and I am planning to track the 2022 model that I just received, (after a runnning in period).
Could you give me some indication of the pressures you find best, with the turbo S ? Last time, I went out with 2.00kg (29psi) all round , and adjusted after 3 laps. How much do you aim for when the tyres are in temperature? Thanks for your help.

My experience is with the PSC2(N2) tire, so experience may vary depending on tire type. I aim for 32psi (2.2bar) hot and try no never exceed 35psi (2.4bar) at all four corners. I start the day at 25~27psi (1.8~1.9bar) and bleed down from there. I destroyed the rear of my first set of PSC2 in less than 4 days by running higher pressures in the rear (as recommended by the owner's manual), so now running equal front and rear pressures. Alignment is also a critical aspect. I used the 991.2 GT3RS specs as a starting point and it works quite well, with -1.6deg/0.04deg front and -2.6deg/0.17deg rear camber/toe settings. The car also feels so much better planted on the street with those specs. I have to say that the factory alignment specs on my car were all over the place (as it was on all my other cars), getting a good alignment done is very worthwhile.

how have the Cup2's changed the characteristics off track? Has the sound from the tires really increased inside the cabin?

Nice picture , I always enjoy seeing these beasts in their natural habitat .

They are a bit noisier and throw a ton of stuff in the fender wells, they also ride a bit harder. All expected from stiffer sidewalls and stickier compound. They handle wet conditions quite well, you just need to be wary when there’s a lot of standing water. They do suck when it is wet AND cold, they are still drivable, but become very slippery and you need to adjust your driving. They improve the handling crispness and steering feedback and feel. I find them to be a very good compromise for a street and track tire. And after years of swapping wheels and tires for each track day, I have to say I really appreciate the convenience of a simple arrive and drive car .

Not yet since the car was brand new. I’ve had decent experience with stock fluid on track with my previous cars (///M3/4), so I figured I would not bother for the first season. What matters most is to have decently fresh fluid (less than a year old), so when I flush the brake system in the spring before the track season, I will likely take the opportunity to do it with Castrol SRF.
