Yes, 21"//22" is just as driveable as the 20"//21" setup. The 21"//22" can be used factory ride height, extremely lowered ride height, and every height in between without rubbing issues.
I sold the wheels to RK-D so I am just as excited to see his setup installed on the car.

I am already lowering the car and pushing the offset on the wheels, so I decided to stick with OEM on wheel/tire sizes just to cut down on variables a bit since I'm DD'ing. I was also a little worried about the sidewalls if daily driving on 21/22.
That said, David and WB have a lot of experience with these cars, so they know as well as anyone what works when it comes to wheel fitment on the TTS.
I do think if you go 21/22, you absolutely have to drop the car. I don't think it will look right otherwise. That may or may not be in your plans.

my advantage is that the car is only a Sunday car or only for sunny days

the narrower side walls are an argument, for a sunday car too

Spent all day taking pics and playing around in Photoshop. Suspension was dropped to ~GT3 ride height. Still very drivable around town (I don't have FAL). Incidentally, FYI to anyone considering them, the Bilstein EVO for cars with FAL apparently does not have a threaded front coilover, so it's not adjustable. The non-FAL Bilsteins have full adjustability on ride height.

What a great car, that green has something special (in a positive sense)

Beautiful Car!!!! Hmmm, that sort of defeats the purpose of the adjustable height then if the fronts aren't adjustable.

Despite being GT3 height the car seems easy to drive. The front bumper is easy to live with.

is the car now tougher or with great loss of comfort?

Believe it or not, I really can't tell the difference between it and my previous C2S with SPASM when it comes to ride quality. It's completely comfortable. Took my 72 year old father for a drive and later my wife and daughter -- no complaints about the ride. My father actually commented that he was surprised how smooth it felt.
I've driven a little over 100 miles this weekend. I'm in the process of shaking it down to see if there are any issues with the suspension.
I swear there is some sort of break in programming, because the engine felt really tight when I first got it. It's starting to open up now after the 50 mile mark. Could be in my head, of course.

that sounds very good, but I also have FAL, which in turn prevents me from doing it if the front doesn't come down
but your TTS also has SPASM?

Wish I still had mine but moved on now.
Enjoy your beautiful car.
