IMO as long as the Porsche dealer supports my changes I won't dig deeper looking for contrary views.

Merci mon ami !!!
Do not dig deeper, ok, but how about the young son of a friend, whose Insurer denied payment of repairs and legal aid when his reprog, souped up Golf put a 45 year-old father of three in a wheelchair.
The car was deemed different from the model registered when it was bought new from VW.. and the driver was found guilty, and made responsible for the payment of a monthly sum of compensation money for life!!
I am not scare-mongering... it did happen (you know that all the insurers want is to find a good reason for not paying up !!)
This is why I bought a 650hp car... I do not have to modify it !!! It is already crazy when new.

Oh my, that's a terrible accident and outcome!
If this outcome was the norm, our whole aftermarket performance industry would close tomorrow.

Well, I would not presume to speak for your country, my friend, but over here , the answer to your question is easy. Fortunately, few of those modified cars (indeed, few cars at all) cause serious accidents, and therefore the story I wrote about is a rare occurence. BUT here, any car that has been modified is outside the law. If you speak French, I shall send you the "small print" in the sales documents of the firms that sell and/or fit these modified chips that enhance performance. They ALWAYS contain a paragraph that explains very clearly that the modifications and other parts they sell make the car suitable for track events ONLY. But of course, most people do not read the small print? or worse do not grasp the huge risk they are taking, driving on the open roads with cars that have 50 to 100% more power than they were designed to have. Porsche are exactly the same... the aftermarket performance industry sell legal parts, the Porsche dealer who fits them is taking a chance but they can always claim that you were warned (the small print!!) that the car should not be used on open roads.

Of course, all this is only valid in my country, and England as well... I do not know your legal system. But ours is strict. The workshop manager at my Porsche Dealership in Bordeaux France told me that even an aftermarket exhaust voids my guarantee. If you choose to investigate at your end, I would be pleased to hear what this situation is like, in Canada. Best regards !!

Let us not overlook the fact that (well, at least over here, in old Europe) the Guarantee becomes void as soon as you change your cats, or fit another exhaust. When you know the price of a new engine, it gives me food for thought !

To clarify : the non sports-exhaust 992 Trubo S does come with the quad square outlets.

And the sports-exhaust version comes with the less than exciting oval outlets.

I am the proud owner of the latter... which means that my task at the moment is to ensure that I can source original spares to keep my PSE, but to install the square outlets...

This weekend we had the opportunity to do some comprehensive testing with our new 992 Turbo S GMG Exhaust System at The Thermal Club! Not only is this incredible machine FAST, but it sounds amazing now too!! Our exhaust system has really awakened the car! There is much more to come!!

Last week we had some quality time with the GMG Racing 992 Turbo project car! We were able to get some street testing done and also get the car lowered on Techart Sport Springs (GMG Springs in development)!

A few notes about this exhaust system -
- Cruising around town, this system is tame. It’s not constantly loud, but is does have a nice growl to it.
- Inside the cabin, it’s VERY quiet.
- This system saves 15 lbs. off the factory exhaust

A more in-depth video is on the way!

It does have a nice growl...that and the drop really change the presence. Great job!
