Is this because there are a lot more Turbo S allocations than the base Turbo? Turbo S sells better correct?

Definitely more TTS than TT sold.

My general information is that they are circling around every 3 months with TT allocations, which makes your position on the waiting list pretty important.

The earlier you get your build code in the more likely you will move up the cue...crazy long wait! I lock in in October and hope for spring delivery so I dont have to put on winters.

2018 had 68 TTs' which makes mine the rarest car I have next to my Integra Type R, of which there were 80 in 1997.

I would be curious to know how may Rhodium Silver 2018s there were as the color was dropped that year.
