What Special GT Cars are Coming?

I actually find the pdk spyder rs really appealing and don’t think I’d prefer that car in manual. Something about the way the sound/power is developed and interacts better with a pdk than it would a manual. Mostly intake, barks on rapid pdk downshifts. Plus the shorter gearing, you are constantly shifting gears. 911 gt’s better at winding out with manual, theater builds and crescendos.
Is there any risk the next speedster is NOT a gt car?

991 Speedster is amazing. Not sure I’d care to upgrade to a 992 speedster if it came out.
Spyder RS in a manual. Now that is something I would want.

The thing is this, marketing and emissions...
Next up is the Heritage GTS car. That car makes 500+ Hp and its an automatic, so where does that put the Speedster? Could it be a GT3 car, absolutely because you can't have a manual GTS. Could they make a GT3 Targa and call it a day, yeah that could work too, but does that eat into GTS sales (no manual) or is it a separate model? Manual Speedster makes sense, marketing would love it and it can be done. Only issue would be regional regulatory issues. For time line, I'm not sure, but my thinking would be that they have to release manual cars by default sooner than later.

SC was to see if there was a market for it and there was. The new new is turbo no vents and manual, very much like the SC, but released as a Heritage option, not to be confused with the actual limited Heritage Turbo car, which is a separate project.

Ive heard this for a long time. A 718R car. It’s probably the tightest kept secret at PAG right now. I wouldn’t be totally surprised if that’s what is debuting at Monterey in a couple of weeks.
The only issue I know of is that it would have to be a North American only car. (well ROW except EU)

I can't reveal more, otherwise the cleaning lady will stop sharing with me classified information. I said it's not based on the 992. So this piece of information should give you a hint about what type of Porsche I'm talking about!
