these guys just dont like the GT3RS. I recall they didn't like the GT3 either. Freaked me out before I got mine. Had mine for last 2 years, these guys way overblow things.

It is objectively terrible even with minimal snow or slush on the ground (I confirmed the hard way). It's mostly because of the tires, but the sharper throttle response and more aggressive gear changes make it more challenging in very slippery conditions, even compared to previous GT3s. Luckily, there is an easy solution - just don't drive it then.

Or get the winter wheel/tire set from Porsche if you must…

If anyone needs one, I have a set for sale. Fits on the 992 GT3 and RS, flawless condition. Only 800 miles of use, willing to sell for $4000 shipped.

Since when did the "Karen" equivalent of youtubers become reliable sources? These guys driving like idiots on wet roads is exactly what's wrong with the mass media culture. The fact this is broadcast as being acceptable makes me wish they would've put it into the wall and lost all the footage instead of airing this foolishness.

These guys are hot air balloons that seek to.feed their own egos and sense of self worth with horrible crap like this.

Speaking as someone who's been over 200mph many times, even I wouldn't drive my 3RS on a wet road like this. Clearly a meeting with the maker in the making....

Review doesn't speak to daily habits at all and as matter of fact, cars stupid smooth and controllable on -4.

Love how they bash the suspension here and praise the ST suspension.... its the same GD tune file. Lol especially when they say the cars darty.... not even kind of.

I agree with the description of the feeling of Aero as I've said before is easily felt at highway speeds.

Lastly... there no such thing as too much steering input.

These guys are just absolutely hack- tastics. If I had tomatoes I'd throw them at the stage.

Would have gotten better wet performance out of the Cup 2 at more than 26-27 psi. 12:45 in video

I don’t get this video… And I like Matt Farrah. This video should have been re-recorded with dry temperatures at another date.

Welp...if you're looking for a commuter car to drive in freezing rain...the RS sucks.

Anyone driving any GT product with pilot sport cup 2 in the rain and cold temperatures is asking for trouble, well known fact. Now if you have proper winter tires it's a different story, search for Rohrl's driving 991.2 GT3RS on ice at its intro. These guys are usually alright but they have gone down a couple of rungs into the realm of click bait imbeciles.

I don't know if I pity Zack more because he's scared sh!tless when daddy drives like a maniac in poor conditions or because he has to temper his opinion as the old gasbag complains for the 1000th time a sports car doesn't drive like a Buick in the clouds.

My son and I will have 2 sets of golf clubs and overnight bags in my 3RS this weekend....no issues whatsoever without a frunk.

Because it's like hammering nails in with a screwdriver. The tires are way way out of the operating temp, G-forces are too low to benefit from the advanced suspension, possible speeds are too low for aero to work, big wheels are a liability rather than benefit due to the bigger surface for aquaplaning, sharp throttle response and turn-in also become detrimental rather than beneficial, and so on. There is no point in driving RS in these conditions over any other car, and anyone who has an RS would likely have another car. So they are testing a scenario the car was not made for and no one would use it for unless by accident. The new RS's MPSC2 tires kind of work in cold and dry (high 30s F are still enjoyable) and work fairly well in warm and wet, but cold and wet together make them useless, and any snow or sleet is just asking for trouble. I guess they (Michelin and Porsche) compromised cold weather traction for track longevity in this generation of tires by using compounds with higher operating temp window, which totally makes sense for a track car. I once ended up caught in a snow squall high in the mountains in a 992 RS, and it sucked, even compared to driving 991.1 GT3 in similar conditions, and not like "you have to know what you are doing" but rather "you are clueless if you decide to do it".
