I don't know if I pity Zack more because he's scared sh!tless when daddy drives like a maniac in poor conditions or because he has to temper his opinion as the old gasbag complains for the 1000th time a sports car doesn't drive like a Buick in the clouds.
My son and I will have 2 sets of golf clubs and overnight bags in my 3RS this weekend....no issues whatsoever without a frunk.

I love affliction shirt comment 😂
It’s a good video based on a pretty opinionated perspective. Different strokes for different folks.
RS & ST is the dream car garage.

Because it's like hammering nails in with a screwdriver. The tires are way way out of the operating temp, G-forces are too low to benefit from the advanced suspension, possible speeds are too low for aero to work, big wheels are a liability rather than benefit due to the bigger surface for aquaplaning, sharp throttle response and turn-in also become detrimental rather than beneficial, and so on. There is no point in driving RS in these conditions over any other car, and anyone who has an RS would likely have another car. So they are testing a scenario the car was not made for and no one would use it for unless by accident. The new RS's MPSC2 tires kind of work in cold and dry (high 30s F are still enjoyable) and work fairly well in warm and wet, but cold and wet together make them useless, and any snow or sleet is just asking for trouble. I guess they (Michelin and Porsche) compromised cold weather traction for track longevity in this generation of tires by using compounds with higher operating temp window, which totally makes sense for a track car. I once ended up caught in a snow squall high in the mountains in a 992 RS, and it sucked, even compared to driving 991.1 GT3 in similar conditions, and not like "you have to know what you are doing" but rather "you are clueless if you decide to do it".

Maybe - but it sounds like you're looking for a specific outcome to reinforce a perspective of the car for you. This video is just another perspective of the cars capabilities in this specific situation. I would think everyone would want to understand both the capabilities and limitations.

Kinda terrifying that this is surprising to anyone.

Of course Matt is wrong when he says the car still produces half of its maximum downforce at half of its top speed (it's only one-quarter as much or around 450 pounds at 92 mph, since downforce is proportional to the square of the speed)...

This video is the equivalent of testing a Lincoln Navigator on a race circuit as a review

I am sure it was not their choice to test in those conditions. They are at the mercy of if/when Porsche will give them one to review. Of course they are not going to say no to Porsche if offered one, regardless of weather conditions.
Some reviewers use followers cars or borrow 3rd party used dealerships for their review, but I believe Matt mostly uses MFG. press cars.
