Looks like it’s in the ballpark, yeah. You can go to the dmv site and see how it’s calculated based on the registration and value. The math is pretty transparent. It’s effectively a property tax.

You might be surprised on the S/T fees. Once California figures out the real value it will be more. Here's the most recent registration on my 2019 Speedster.
