What are you paying for insurance in CA?
Most of you are probably too rich to care, but for my fellow plebs, what are you paying for GT3 insurance in CA? I went from ~1500 to ~2000 on this newest six month premium. Middle aged male with no claims, good coverage, multi-car, etc. with State Farm.
This is approaching Hagerty levels!

That is very interesting, I am paying about that much for three expensive cars (including the gt3) and two regular cars in az with three cars totaled in last 3 years (teenagers, amiright?). California wins again.

It's not even worth his time.
A year and a half ago I signed up with Grundy out of PA.
And interestingly enough, my rates stayed the same for this year.
Hagerty is a joke.
They quoted me $4600 and then pulled a "switch-a-roo" on me which wasted my time submitting all of the required docs.
My insurance with Grundy with my GT3 not being my daily driver is $3,100 for the year.
No mileage limits and free windshield replacement.

Here in CT I never had an issue insuring any of my Porsche's and other cars until I bought my Aston Martin Vantage. None of the well known insurance companies would insure it. I had to go with Hagerty. ~$2k / year

I'm sure some guys here are rich but doubt very many are 'too rich to care'. Nationwide is on my side....$1370 for my '23 GT3 and $900 for my '16 GTS. Whole policy seems up about 20-25% yr over yr. Our homeowners went from $2500 to $4K with no claims or changes. Location CA

Be hella thankful you guys don't live in Canada... Specifically the GTA (greater Toronto area). If I paid what the most expensive quote was in this group... I'd be so happy I'd buy 3 of the 3RS lol. We make California look like a Saint

Too many factors come into play with cost of insuring a vehicle even in one particular state. Most commonly age/years driving, location, accidents, violations just to name a few. There’s a big difference if you’re in a small suburb vs large metropolitan city. Every individual is different and can vary significantly. The only thing we all have in common is premiums increased for everyone this past year.

My rates here in NY are absolutely exorbitant. Even with USAA (other carriers even more expensive), and multi-car discount, defensive driving discount, etc., etc. Even more expensive than the OP's new rates, and, strangely, our BMW 3 series and Acura MDX policies are just as expensive as my GT3's. Chalk it up to too many people on the roads here, many driving aggressively and/or cluelessly, too many uninsured drivers, and lucrative lawsuits.
