Default Just advised my 992GT3RS will be a 2025 model

I had a July build and Porsche is taking some of these builds and moving them into 2025 models. I am supposed to receive information in June regarding the build status.

My GM states there will not be an increase in the price of my vehicle. Also, he doesn't know if there are any changes to the 2025 model.

Not sure how to react to this news. It is what it is.

In your shoes I would take that as good news, right? Newer MY car with no price increase and they're not manually delaying the car further to accommodate the newer MY

I agree the good news is new year model and no price increase. Unfortunately I have to wait until June to determine when car will be built ( hopefully this year) and delivery date.

How does your dealer know there won't be a price increase? I'm not doubting that's what he told you but is this verifiable info from PCNA?

According the GM since they had a 10% increase last year and dealerships are notified in advance of price increases, he’ confident at least in my situation there not be a price increase. My car price was agreed to and confirmed by Porsche. Porsche unilaterally moved my car into a new model year I suspect because of production delays.

FWIW, they seem to be prioritizing the S/T model production.

Has anyone with a regular GT3 winged or touring car been confirmed to be pushed into MY25? That would make 4 model years of GT3 production.

Certainly doesn't feel that way. Have both on order and my S/T has been delayed 70+ days from original dates. 3RS remains on course. Both are summer builds

Hardly any S/T's have been delivered to the US. I have no idea how many RS's have been delivered. Porsche has a lot of catching up to do especially with the S/T considering the carbon parts shortage.

My '23 GT3 was supposed to be a '22. I had the same thing happen, got it at the '22 price. In the end I have a '23 and I saved a significant amount by paying the '22 price (I think it was around a 17k difference for equal specs).

There was a price increase from 2022 to 2023, orders that were already in queue were grandfathered at the old price. No one raised hell about it on here, so I presume it went smoothly for everyone.

I think the MSRP price difference between '22 and '23 was $8,600.
Not counting options of course.

This is good news. Did 2023 differ from 2022 other than in price?

Similar happened to 2022 GT4RS. Porsche moved all of the US allocations into 2023. Hated it because it screwed with my ED plans. Change forced dates month out, out of normal vacation selection.
