I just ordered the rear axle cooling duct upgrade for $132 from Suncoast.
Another easy mod and no-brainer.

Anti-buffeting window triangles. Cannot believe the car was shipped with this much of a design flaw. Only if in US with window down rules.

I went with the AWE Foils.
Easy install and match my black trim perfectly!

You can also drive with the windows up just a few inches as well. Good combo!

I get what you are saying, but that perspective is a bit limiting and in all honesty simply not true.

Does everyone who owns a Submariner need to go deep sea diving?

Does everyone who owns a Rubicon need to take it to Moab?

Does everyone who rides a Trek Madone SLR 9 have to compete in the TdF?

While true, everyone uses their “toys” for different purposes, I think when you have something capable of great performance, it enhances the ownership experience by appreciating that and being better able to exploit it. If you buy a GT3 to look at; great. Your money. Enjoy. But if you bought a GT3 to enjoy what it was designed to do - go fast through corners - best to learn how to do that better. Will everyone end up being Senna? Nope. Can you go from hack to very competent driver and enjoy the car more? Yep.

I have race bikes too and every day I seek to be a better rider and over time I have. I don’t do watches or off-roading so can’t speak to those.

I see a lot of owners who have no idea what these cars are capable of and am a bit sad they won’t get to experience that. But if you just want a status symbol, have at it.
