Default 992 S/T and GT3rs plush cash vs CGT

Hi, long time lurker posting for first time.

Wondering what your thoughts are on for hypothetically trading a package of 992 GT3rs + S/T + cash (to make up for difference) for 1 CGT? Assuming fair price for all 3 cars.
Obviously this would have to happen at least 1 year after taking delivery in the S/T so would be 2025 business at the earliest, but for those with extensive garages and access to these cars wondering if you have thought about it.
At least here in CT you could slap a classic car plate on the CGT and eliminate property tax, although at cars this level the tax aspect is really not a deal breaker.

This is under the assumption you already have a decent garage on top of the GT3rs & S/t. Let's say something like a Dakar (for winter fun) / manual car of early 2000s (F430 or Murci or FGT etc.) / track dedicated car / comfortable daily (taycan or Cayenne etc.) as well as the GT3rs and S/T.
Happy to hear thoughts.

Sell your soul for a CGT. I have had mine for 17 years and it's now covered 60,000 miles. If you want the most thrilling, engaging and rewarding P car, buy the Carrera GT. No matter how good the GT3RS and ST are, they will never hold a candle to the immersive experience that is the CGT. The engine and drivertain are worth the ticket price alone. It's a car that will take you a long time to fully exploit, and with modern dampers and Cup2 tyres it can still cut it on track, and is a more resolved road car. There has never been such a magnificently over engineered supercar, that rewards like no other. She is the GOAT.

I would rather have the RS and the ST, especially if I specced them.

The only reason why I would sell my 997 4L would be for a CGT.

nothing drives like a CGT, nothing before and nothing after.
I love it
but it is a A to point A car. totally useless
I have 15k miles on CGT chassis. I know it well but every time I am out with it, it scares me ****less.
If u like roller coaster rides, this is it.

it's better to have RS and CGT.

ok so the question is-

selling the GT3RS @ Market 420-450?
selling the s/t @ market 500-600?

buying CGT @ market 1.2-1.5?

you're still short quite a bit of cash. .

without having driven the ST yet but having a lot of miles on my pair of CGT's (now sold) and my R (now sold) and short drives in the 992 RS I'd much rather have the CGT vs any of those 911's.

is the goal investment or driving or both….?

CGT will sit while with the other 2 cars the RS will likely be driven, the ST will probably be less used but still return well in value as will the RS…..even with miles….

if pure investment return is the goal with little driving over next 5 years…CGT

I despise that this is part of the equation with cars now

The CGT has a lot of quirks. Having a 992 RS and ST and also requiring more cash I personally would not go CGT.

It’s unlike anything you else but it’s dated in ways too. Doug Demuro just spent a bunch of money just to get it to ride more like a modern car. New suspension, axle lift, electro wing etc.

CGT is the type of car you buy when you have FU money in my humble opinion. Or it’s a life must have check box.

I would want to be in the position where you don’t have to get rid of ST and RS and simply be adding CGT.

Couldn't agree more. I'm not considering a CGT until it means I don't have to sacrifice anything else to get one.

Like others have said, I think that the CGT is an adder, not a substituter.

Just based on maintenance costs alone, I would choose an S/T and RS combo.

Even though I’m a quality over quantity person.

For me, the choice would be obvious.
CGT for the weekend, 991.2 GT3 Touring for everything else.
