Will do! Finally heard back from Rick at Deman. Basically told me once I have all the parts to set something up with him. He’s only 4 hours away and I have 100% confidence in him.

Don’t plan on doing the final drive but if someone knows how or where to find info on that part? then I may be tempted to have him do that as well.

best of luck. But I just can’t see Porsche handing over bespoke parts made for a limited edition car to some rando for a pet project. Anticipate they will require VIN and will require parts to be shipped to Porsche dealer/service department to verify. Again best of luck

Like you can't get a 911R shift ****? I don't think ordering the parts will be a problem.

Internal gearbox parts however are not sold separately by Porsche no matter what model you have so the final drive will be a no go until someone either makes it or properly crashes an S/T to part out.

yes, I do thanks. I have been involved in the Porsche world for obviously a long time. The first issue is going to be Porsche simply having spares to go around. Given the limited number of cars built there will not be many spares available. unfortunately i have previously had cars sitting at Porsche for months waiting for parts soon after release. So initially after release I just don’t see Porsche handing out parts specific to the S/T, (especially those which are crucial to allowing the car to work!) to non-owners. For example I remember with my 991.2 RS certain parts could only be ordered by my dealer after VIN verification.

again I am being honest in hope you can achieve this goal. Good luck

You can order ring and pinions and individual gears for 997 era GT cars, is that different for newer cars?

Nice - do you have a shop in mind for the installation?

Any concerns that the software may need to be updated as well?
