Default 992 GT3 Touring Question

Just picked up a 2023 GT3 Touring with 3 pedals. Just spent the weekend on the Nor Cal coast. Such a great car! I’ll post more later.

Question; Can the tail/wing be programmed to stay down?

Dave

It can not as far as I know as far as an easy response. Im sure the technical answer is yes but I wouldn't really mess with it re aero anyways.

You should be able to with a PIWIS, Launch X431 etc. Go into rear body control module and set the spoiler activation speed from its default to the maximum value allowed. I've done it on 991.

That's what I'm looking for! I don't want my road going car to have a wing. I have other cars for the track. Will play around with that next week and report my findings.

Yes you can! I’ve raised mine from the factory 55mph to 75mph to now 90mph. Only problem though is I get an alert on dash at 65mph regarding the spoiler, but it goes away once I reach the 90mph.

So there must be another value that needs to be changed. I just haven’t figured it out yet. It’s all in German. I’m using a piwisiii.

Plan to look into it more this week as weather has gotten better.

Also forgot to mention that it works perfectly when the car is in normal mode. Once you put it in sport the wing raises at the factory speed (55mph) but I have the ability to lower it via pcm at speeds up to 90mph.

Would be great to have another set of hands trying to work this out.

IIRC there are two or three in the menu that need to be changed... Spoiler up speed and Spoiler down speed. You should be able to have no warnings.

I changed both! But still got the light on dash. I even tried to code out the message and I had no luck, but that was also the last time I drove the car.

Maybe the kombi just needed to sleep for a bit??

I will test out at some point this week.
