GT3 Touring (Front Plate or Not?)
Legal, regulations, police aside... does the GT3 Touring look better with a plate on the front or not? Aesthetically, I can't decide whether I prefer a plate on the front or not.
Poll attached...
And, yes... I am running out of 'GT3 Things To Do' while I await delivery :-)
How do I clear my search history (asking for a friend :-)

Please please please don’t drill holes in that beautiful front end!
Imho it looks 1000X better without a front plate. I think this so much I consider the no front plate fix it tickets an additional cost of ownership lol

Ha, it becomes an idea because I don't want to be pulled over by the police everyday and getting an €80 fine :-)
I think the poll clearly indicates that people prefer no plate... thanks for chiming in.

Can’t speak for others, but when I was in the market for a used 991.2 GT3, I completely skipped over looking at any cars with front plates. Far too much hassle and cost to replace the entire front bumper and have it paint matched. And bumper plugs are ugly on a $200k toy. Yes I dislike front plates that much, and for that amount of money I want my toys exactly how I like. I’m sure if one potential buyer (me) feels like that, there are others out there. Especially the buyers not on Rennlist solely buying these cars for looks/show. So in perspective that 80 euro ticket might be the more cost effective option.
Your original post also said irrespective of legality or police, but now you say tickets are a factor? I’m confused. Anyways if you’re that scared of the mean traffic cop’s ticket book, then just slap on a sticker.

Don't drill it for sure and I wouldn't put a plate on it. If you must, then use the tow hook mount but that looks horrible!
I wouldn't worry about police pulling you over. I've let my registration lapse for 8 months and no issue. Cops really aren't pulling a lot of people over anymore (at least in the US) for minor stuff like this because of the funding. Also, police departments are really avoiding creating unneeded interaction with the public for minor offenses which may lead to bigger problems for them (plenty of examples in the US).
I made one exception which was the sticker plate from my European delivery. It's a Tourist Euro Plate which I think looks pretty cool so I left it on. That was almost 6 years ago and it still looks cool. This is a pic from this morning.

Looks like he's in Europe. Not sure if the fines/regulations are worse there, but in the states it's typically a Fix It ticket and it's not enforced that much in many areas. So in the US at least, I'd say to risk it and not have the plate.
