Um, reading the manual will tell you everything you need to know.
With battery connected, red clamp to red positive connection on battery, black negative clamp to negative terminal as part of the wiper mount on drivers side.
With battery negative not connected, connect directly to battery.

Order the CTEK 56-629 "indicator" pigtail that has a fuse and comes with M6 eyelets.
Connect one end to the positive post and the other to the bolt on the passenger side strut-tower.

I have the Porsche battery tender. I would just use the alligator clamps directly to the battery but the sticker on the battery bar that says no clamps makes me wonder why it’s there.

It's most commonly put down to generating a spark directly adjacent to hydrogen produced by a lead acid battery - hence a distanced ground terminal connected last less likely to ignite. Article here on it https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-...902-story.html
Of course shouldnt be an issue with Li-Ion batteries 🤪

Paraphrasing here, but CTEK says it is acceptable to connect the hardwire kit directly to both terminals. As mentioned, Porsche provides different advice but does not seem to contemplate hardwired solutions. My connect/disconnect is multiple feet away from my battery.

I simply extended the plug "out" from underneath the cowling for photo purposes. Its tucked in under the hood. More importantly, this is the longest of all CTEK comfort connection pigtails. The M8 eyelet pigtails are too short.

With the ctek charger the 12v works without issue. The Porsche charger is garbage and you have to do a song and dance for it to work on occasion. I’ve had the ctek one now and it has worked 100% of the time. I plug it into the 12v charger and then I plug it into the wall. It just works from there. No need to lock the car, turn the ignition, say a prayer, or anything else.
