10% increase across the board for 2024: rumor or truth?

Nope. It’s not working for GM. If you’re rich enough to pay $70K+ in adm, you can self insure or get a 3rd party warranty. It won’t stop flipping, but it might take the cost of the 3rd party warranty out of the adm.
Literally the one good thing capitalism does, better than anything else, and people just keep pretending that market pricing isn’t real. So bizarre.

Just take a look on BAT.
A C8 Z06 sold for 227k, or about 100k (original MSRP as 130k). Car was titled Jan 2023.

Another C8 Z06 currently still being bid on, is already over MSRP by 20k, with 2 days left. Car was titled Feb. 2023

I wouldn't expect GM's policy to totally stop flipping cold, I would more expect that there'll be less of it. So you'll get some money-no-object folks paying whatever, but they'd be more outliers than the norm. That said, a 6 month moratorium on flipping ain't really that long, so as soon as the time is up it'll be back to square one. Especially since it seems like GM is having trouble ramping up Z06 production.

Yup. AlexCeres is right.

TBF, there’s just not much GM can do about it besides pump out way way more cars. Fighting market pricing is like swimming against the current. GM can’t raise MSRP much without ****ing over the people they really want as customers. The ADMs until more supply is available is pretty much the best outcome for Corvette fans.
Porsche is doing the other practical thing. Raising MSRP to cut into the market disequilibrium a little. Porsche isn’t going to pump out way more cars. Some more, sure. But not nearly enough to resolve the demand imbalance. They’d need to build another factory. Honestly I think the short / medium term will only be resolved as people leave the brand either because prices are raised higher or the GT game is just so wearisome

My 2023 build is up a little over $14k. I love how PECATL delivery doubled in price. It is a great time for sure but not sure it’s worth 2k now… but that’s probably because I’ve done it twice now.
As for the last few allocations we heard about last week - I’m assuming those people get to pay the previous prices and not the increase?

PTS is now $2k more as well.
Also crazy - this time 1 year ago, a GT3 was $20k+ less than the same one today. They did a small price hike around June 2022.
