There will be/are more 992.1's GT3's produced than 991.2 GT3's already. The car is going into its third MY of production as well, which is a year longer than the 991.2's. The GT3 has always been produced in higher numbers each generation so long as demand is there. 996 -> 992 GT3's would reflect that as well from a production number standpoint.

I'd like to see the real count of 991.2 GT3 vs. 992.1 GT3 produced. My 991.2 GT3 was produced in July 2017 and they made those some part into 2019. Granted some of the specs on the 992 GT3 are awful, leaving off certain options, but the number produced would be interesting.

Have had deposit on a .2GT3T since the .1 was released. Reality (at least for me) is that there has never been a GT generation where I have not preferred the .2 to .1; hopefully this remains the case on the 992.2T

Just goes to show that even dealers aren't told everything, only PAG knows.

They are gullible sheep who somehow think that Porsche is not in business to build and sell as many cars as they can when the demand is there. We'll hear the same BS about the RS production ending early or how there will be some limited number of cars.

And they'll build more 992.2 GT3s than 992.1 GT3s, it's very simple to understand why.

After reading pretty much every thread regarding production, not one person said there would not be a 2024. Please share links.

Excuse me Marty, but are you actually calling CJ a "gullible sheep" now?
Sure sounds like it.

Nope, I said that not even dealers know what PAG will do with production. They are 2nd last to know (behind the general public).

But you're also criticizing CJ for not admitting that he was wrong.
You conveniently forgot that part.
