PDK will be marginally faster. But at the end of the day, are you out there racing to beat someone else or to win a prize? Most of us will say no. I'm just tracking my car to have fun which is why I got the manual.
The best way to go faster is to invest in the driver. In the past year of GT3 ownership, I've improved my lap times by 9 secs on a 2 minute track which is a massive improvement. Half of that is just overcoming my personal fear and taking advantage of the improved aero on high speed turns. The other half is just becoming a better driver. Compare that 9 secs to Grant's data above for the time advantage of a pdk.

pdk saves the most time vs manual when you have to go down a bunch of gears or up a bunch of gears in one corner, with some steering angle.
if your local track is mainly 3-4th gear with one hairpin it will be less than a second per lap if you are a really good driver.
same can be said on GT3 vs RS- the power difference is really not that drastic like a GT2RS would be. the only advantage you get in the RS is more grip and confidence in 100mph+corners. the MT is a lot lighter than the PDK which offsets a bit of the ease of shifting.
driver error >>>> car outputs ( for lap times)

Does it really thought? You don't think the same driver would always beat his own time in a PDF vs Manual? I mean the PDK shifts are in milliseconds and the quickest manual shifter still requires your arm and leg to move...

Also, with a PDK you don’t need to use near as much mental capacity. Near the limit, the extra concentration is real and effects the ability to be as smooth on steering and timing.
Again, on a somewhat technical track, I think the difference is about 1 sec per min of lap time.
