Default What will recession do to the 992 GT3?

Seems like a 2022 gt3 is in the 255-300 range in the used market now.

when the recession hits harder, where do you all think the trough will be pricewise for these cars?

Let me check my Ouija Board . . . yup, prices will drop to below MSRP on a used car.
Depreciation will become a common term once again.

Crazy, I know! But that's what it said!!

You broke turds still won’t be able to afford one.

Pray for a recession, because you won’t run into money declines yourself. Who are you Zelensky?

Its funny, I was thinking as I ran through our little beach town today. Everyone keeps talking about recession. All I see is more people living better than they have ever lived before. Just saying.

Yes, prices of not only Porsches, but everything else will decline. Wishing it to happen or not to happen will change nothing. The first stage of any asset crash is always denial. The only people that will be crying are the over levered that bought to turn a quick profit (bag holders) or people that severely over paid with ADM's. However, the GT3 will always remain a sought after car in any economic climate.

I inquired with my local dealership over the weekend and they are still asking for a $75k ADM on a winged GT3 order (Feb allocation). Salesperson said this is down from close to $100k ADM on winged GT3 and $150k ADM on the Touring.

The market may be softening, but it’s still very strong for GT cars.

Prices will soften. The price of the GT3 has already gone down around 10%. Not too long ago the Winged GT3's were North of $300K. Now most of the GT3 are less than $300K.
I don't think the prices will tank and for the folks that got their car at MSRP they will continue to be in the "Black".

It seems Feb allocations are expected!

Hopefully that means more GT3 coming our way.
