860,000 dreamers and bored apes.

What more can I say than it sucks? I don't like it. It's mediocre. It's boring. It's mundane. It's ugly. It does not tickle my fancy. Doesn't float my boat. Maybe it would if I didn't know any better.

E30, E36, E46, E92? Different story.

you seem to have difficulties separating your opinion from fact. Just because you don't like it doesn't make it hot garbage as you called it.

I enjoy nice things that work well in general. That's including everything in this world including the kitchen sink.

M4 CSL is nice when you want a bunch of swaggy teenagers standing around you and your car in a circle jerk.
Tell me you own a Rolex. Witch BTW is the equivalent of an M car.

That pretty much hits the spot.

Don’t know about the M4 CSL but I have an M2 competition MT for a daily driver. Had it for four years and 58,000 miles the longest I’ve ever had a car. It’s been terrific and practical put the seats down and I carry my bike in the back with taking the front wheel off. Hasn’t used a drop of oil fun to drive and quick. The car has not had one glitch never been back to the dealer even the original Michelin‘s lasted 44,000 miles with one track day! I drove a M2 CS when the dealer had one and to me it wasn’t enough difference to justify the price. The value has been amazing Carmax offered me 52,000 last week I paid 58. I keep looking for something to replace it with I just can’t find anything that is as much fun and practical. My Gt3 touring is a totally different animal I’m not comparing it. Carl

I am an unsophisticated peasant with a Rolex and a Samsung watch. Can't afford AP/Patek or Apple.

What kind of washer and dryer do you have?

Does anyone here have the M4 CSL? If so can you opine on the qualities of the car? @Scrappy1972 you had some positive comments on it, did you receive one?

I have a GT3 and love it. I also have a CSL lined up. They are nothing alike, but seem like they could be good complements.

But I'm not 100% sold on the CSL and I have a few other Porsches lined up for 2023 including a TTS that just might render it obsolete.

Regardless of the media’s temptation to do so (and gather clicks/licks), the GT3 and CSL are not really comparable for many obvious reasons.. One is a sports car while the other a sedan tuned for improved track performance and driving engagement. The CSL is a hoot and one could easily own both without any feeling of redundancy. It’s loud, direct and very powerful. It’s the GT2 RS of sedans.

I also owned a 992 TTS but the CSL is far more thrilling. They’re just different cars.

I was also sceptical about M cars for years(read about quality issue, feeling heavy on corners, etc) but i have not actually drive any new M3/4. Done almost 40.000 km in my previous 991.2 GT3 PDK and i can say that steering feel is not that wow in 991 compare to M3 G81.
Get the M3 Touring two weeks ago im still in the 2000km breaking interval so i have not yet used M mods or go above 5K. Interior and overall quality is great, car feels super solid.
Im also kinda glad i didn't manage to get the Dakar allocation. Beside the 150K still in the bank i can finally take the dog with us on abroad trips.

if M guys earn money 90% grow to 911 GT’s drivers

i had a M4 CSL
and a 992 Touring

and no idea after this threesome why to choose the M4 CSL one day over the 992.
so i sold the CSL. better to buy a 2022 G80 + Recaros + Suspension + a bit power - rear seats (or keep 4doors and 4 seater)= half of the CSL money. same fun.
or buy M3 touring. also way cheaper.
CSL is for me „no difference“ to a normal M4.

a lot good things are already said above.
M endet with e92m (for me).
GT is getting better and better.

^ CSL is an ‘and’ car for some. The people I know who own a CSL (or wanted one) already have multiple Porsches in their garage. Variety is the spice of life.
