The “994” will be a revolution not an evolution of the 911. There are still a few debates internally about the drivetrain, final headlights and interior.
Keep in mind the 992.1 was supposed to have a hybrid from the start and it was delayed because of a few thing, marketing, development, other cars in the queue….
Porsche knows the 992 will be one of the last “analog” cars they make, it doesn’t mean the “994” won’t be engaging and ridiculously fun to drive it just means that there is still a lot more to be done with the 992 chassis, I mean we are still seeing 992.1 being released when they are being sold side by side to the 992.2.

! My SA shared the same schedule screenshot. You and I have the same V260 (vehicle production start) date! Except mine shows vehicle completion (V300) a day earlier on 9/9 and arrives at different port (Port Benicia vs San Diego)
Negative (for me at least). Despite SA sharing the detailed schedule, TYD on Porsche App shows "not scheduled". Latest update was "The manufacturing process of your Porsche is starting soon" which is ~2wks prior to manufacturing start.

I went non WP ice grey metallic, color Looks like trash on the configurator but in real life looks like metallic white in sun and in shade looks like chalk which is cool, not as cool as Smurf or frog tho…then went with Silver wheels, PCCB, fal, full leather, Bose and a couple other meaningless options.
my spec is just oozing with class lol
I like the painted hood and wheels of the non WP 🤷♂️

which Bay Area dealer have you been working with?
i would've thought so too, as several where gt cars. The lower adm was for 125k when they were looking for 150k lol. Got to love Norcal/ Bay Area dealers.
So now I'm looking for a new dealer, though i see the most likely scenario me having to pick up a used gt3rs in the future as i don't think i'll find a dealer that will give me one as a new customer for no more than a 25-35k adm.
