I personally feel the stereotypical Porsche sales rep already has their rolodex of clients when they're seeking to sell units. Walk ins very few will actually take seriously. Its the sad reality of it. I personally dont think window lickers are the problem, more so a large set amounts of dealers attempt to stereotype their buyers by old world buying power criteria. Additionally, race, material possessions especially watches and shoes, what you arrived in, and appearance are what these box stores train their sales people to scope for. It's foolish and ignorant and the sad reality the most wealthy individuals I've met (almost adozen over 100mil, 2 bil+) not a single one of them gives a **** about watches, designer clothes, fancy shoes, or any of them. 1 of the B's was head to toe covered in tattoos and wasn't taken seriously at Ferrari so.... goes to Lambo and bought him and his wife SVJs. Not to mention the fact he already owned many top fuel cars and sponsored teams on circuit tracks overseas.
Had more dealers understood the flat out ability to have a human conversation and not prejudge then maybe they could eliminate some of their own self inflicted nonsense.
While shopping in the Toronto area I went to almost every dealer and I will say not one of them treated me like a tire kicker even when I did kick tires
I wanted to see a car in the same color in a similar spec to what I was about to order for my at a dealer that I don’t purchase from. I told them I just wanted to see the color and the SA took me in their storage to see it
I got turned away at the door at Honda before though
Question...I've recently acquired a GT3RS allocation from my local dealer it was a allocation that was given to a previous customer for pts but was bumped for pts so that customer decdied not to tak the allocation which is how I ended up getting it. Anyways the sales manger of the dealer orginally moved the allocation out to come in august of 24 trying to secure pts, now that I have taken over they have emailed to get my allocation bumped up and built faster. So my question is has anyone dealt with this process of bumping your dates up because in my Porsche app it just shows my order is confirmed with dates tbd, when previously it should freeze point and other dates leading to august delivery.
Im new here so it’s my first post but I constantly read up on the forums to stay up to date on everything Porsche so figured what better place to ask if anyone has experienced this.

Have them show you the allocation is V215 in their PNN, and that PTS is secured. Otherwise it's not a PTS car
Seemingly still no real news on 3RS allocations. The other thread is mostly about real estate now haha. Im guessing there just isn’t any news until more allocations drop and no one really knows when that’ll be.

Porsche is tripping over it's own feet right now so the only thing that we know is that they'll keep building cars, we just don't know which ones and how many of them.

It's very common for Porsche allocation, build and freeze dates to move. Pay particular attention to freeze dates, as they tend to be a rough estimate at best and orders often lock well before the freeze date. My car locked three weeks ahead of the shown freeze date, and it's not the first time I've experienced this.
Allocation is currently in V110 IMP Text handling required…switched to my spec from previous customers spec who had the allocation before me. Not a PTS specd car which is yhe reason previous customer moved on the allocation and I was totally okay with a non pts spec, my msrp is around 313k anyone have any experience with being in the V110 stage and how long before it was pushed up on a non pts spec?

You should be getting specific status dates very soon.
Yeah no PTS. Which is what I expected the previous customer who had this allocation his reason for giving it up was because Porsche bumped this allocation from PTS. I already had a allocation elsewhere that was a non pts spec but the ADM was sky high. So taking over this one is way better for me than the one I had before so decided to take over the allocation from the previous customer.
