If you look at the auction info it says the car is owned by Give Me The VIN aka givemethevin.com which is a wholesaler only. They do not do any retail sales, and I believe run most of their purchased inventory, if not all of it, through the auction.

Seems this car went Reserve-Not-Met at $355k (which is absolutely ridiculous imo), though you can buy it now for $365k! 
$355k is like $142k over MSRP...$147k if we factor in buyer's fee.

For several years now.
Ever since it became kind of clear that GT cars can be bought and sold with minimal depreciation the focus on RL has been around the value of used cars. People get in to this with economic motivation rather than enthusiast motivation.
It was better when Porsche GT and air cooled markets weren't "investments". Back then people focused on driving.
