You may want to rethink your reply here…while he may have stated the incorrect plant for 911s, the memo posted clearly states that all models will be affected by this temporary production halt. And several posters, myself included, have confirmed this to be a legit internal memo.

Bill 76, I too have been bumped three times. let me ask looking for correlation, a few of my components, PCCB's, CF Roof, Buckets. Any chance you have same items in your spec and maybe can deduce which item is causing delays??
just guesswork.
thanks,

I just got word that only Leipzig is closed at the moment.
My Touring timeline has not changed, April production date.

While Leipzig is the only shutdown, being told all wiring harnesses for all models are made in Ukraine.

Point stands regardless... If "journalists" are getting their info from car forums... then the tail IS wagging the dog. What value are they providing if the are writing based on this.
It's not about the OP.. we all come here to write whatever we want, Rennlist is for entertainment, and I wrote that I hope he's getting a chuckle out of this. It's the DRIVE writer looking for click bait who is the problem.

My car has bounced around a lot with 12 weeks total delays (PTS,PCCB, lift, EM interior, 6MT, no CF at all etc). My belief is it’s “normal” supply chain issues.
My dealer relayed a message from PAG that cars “may” be delayed due to the war exacerbating supply chain issues - this is not fake, it’s true info - why would they make tha up?
Porsche has posted such on TYD. I believe the memo is accurate, though definitely internal and the dealer did not have that info at Sales Mgr level.
My build is still 7/1/22, but completion pushed to 7/15/22. So far fingers crossed, not much impact. My order was accepted July 2, 2021 if that matters.

we need a real source on the ground, like the guy that loads the cars on the train/truck to go up to Emden. or the stevedores who are driving the cars aboard the ship. What if we recruit a transportation source to give us this on a daily report and we send him a steady supply of american microbrew....? anyone have employees or relatives over there? someone in the military? Pen pal? how many cars are coming out and going to the port?
