How terrible your GT sports car is delayed and let's complain about Putin delaying bunch of completely unnecessary Porsches when there are kids dying there. I wonder if any of you have lived through that for 24 hours if you have ever complained about the $200,000 "PTS" being delayed.

I would give up my to be build Porsche in a heart beat to exchange my happiness to the wellbeing of those people who are suffering through this. I think we need to take it down a notch here with complaining. My car was lost in Felicity Ace (and I have been waiting for 8 months) and it appears that I won't get a car for at least another 6 months but for some reason I worry more about kindergartens being bombed than my stupid luxury car.

Sad news, but where does it say that your car will be produced in June?

Not surprising. On one hand, customers are frustrated (even more with a huge boat going down). On the other hand, it’s all 1st world problems.

Here’s one of many articles on the stoppage.

https://www.carexpert.com.au/car-new...ortages-report

Article says the Zuffenhausem plant will stay open. BMW also affected however their plants in China, US, and Mexico aren’t affected by the wire harness shortage.

What does production cutoff date refer to, our lock date, or the date production starts according to TYD?

Haven't received any emails, but my GT3 Touring Production was supposed to start 3/18, possibly missing the cut-off by a day.

"Dear Customer, as the terrible news and pictures continue to reach us from Ukraine, we are appalled and deeply saddened by the situation. Our immediate concern is first and foremost for the people of Ukraine, our colleagues on the ground and peace as a whole.

The situation may mean the ordering and delivery of your car is delayed as a result of the supply chain being interrupted.

We kindly ask for your understanding and for you to keep in touch with your dealership who will do their best to keep you updated every step of the way as we work as a priority to address this situation."

My PTS GT3 is still scheduled to be delivered in August. Nothing has changed for me in terms of my delivery date. So far lol

Can't rely on TYD esp for PTS

Heard from my dealer that my July PTS build (slipped from April originally) is now delayed due to Ukraine and supply chain, sun spots, ships sinking who knows what else.

Effing crazy world, and this has by far been the most surreal car experience of my lifetime.

I’m sure a soybean shortage will impact all wiring one day, soon.

Just maybe I threaded the needle. My touring is produced sitting in Emden. Missed the FA fire and supply chain interruption. Let's see what happens.

TYD site has just shown that the service is unavailable for the last few days when I've checked.

To be clear though, the shutdown in Leipzig is for one week according to the article the OP posted. And GT3s are not made in Leipzig anyway. They are all made in Zuffenhasuen.
