Can you elaborate please? Often wondered about a 4.5 Deman and regear on a 981.

Sure - caveat is I have a sport cup suspension set up and Cobb tuned the ECU for a few more
Ponies and torque thru the rev range. I had the second Gen GT4 too and now the new GT4RS and prefer the simplicity and analog-ness of the first Gen GT4 soo much more. It’s visceral and light and alive. “People” have complained about the long gearing 1-2 but frankly on track and just as a daily driver I like the flexibility second gear gives me. Never think about it. She revs and revs so keeping it in second in the 6-7k range is fine (no oil consumption or issues). Have 40k on her and other than Sport Cup 2s lasting only 3k she’s as tight and fun as when I got her. You can spend a lot on mods (Rick’s mods are fun and I’ve drive a few with them and the revised gearing but I don’t see the ‘value’ in the money spent. Totally subjective of course.

Beautiful cars. I really appreciate your comparo given you own the three gens. I have a car arriving in two weeks and deposits on four others. My SA is holding the fourth spot in line for me on the Spyder RS but I think I need to stop and consolidate, haha. I'm starting to not see the point in spending twice the money for cars that are not as visceral as cars from the 2010's. I recently bought a 2010 GT3 which is not the fastest GT but it's so engaging. I was searching for a 981 GT4 when the 7.2 GT3 was offered to me but I keep looking. Maybe a 981 Sypder or even a 987 makes more sense for me. Thank you again.

I share the sentiment, except the GT4/Spyder are not smaller or lighter than a GT3. They are the same size and weight, just with inferior suspension.

Is another version of a 911 that special for the 75th anniversary launch? 70th anniversary launch was the Taycan, a major car launch.

My money is still on an super/hyper car - CGT(2003) - 918(2013 - ??? (2023).

If you compare GT3 and GT4, dimensional differences are smaller (and GT3 is lighter)
