Agree with this, there were a lot less OPCs around also when the R came out. The 1963 amount sounds about right, IMO.

Recall Grant Larson said in an interview when the Sport Classic came out that none of his Dept design cars would have a NA GT engine, the 3rd one is the Dakar one more to come. I would expect the GT dept ST if thats what it ends up being called would have some input from the Exclusive department trim wise.
IMO

The 1970s heritage car should have a Pasha inspired interior theme, which wasn’t on the Dakar when announced. So, is the Dakar really one of these Heritage throwbacks? The 1980’s car should have a tartan inspired interior. Time will tell soon. I think an an announcement is imminent (Sportscsar together Day in June).

GT3 touring type body with more carbon fiber and some RS styling. GT3 RS engine. Manual only. About 60 kg lighter than GT3RS. 1963 made.
Essentially a 992 version of the 911R

Lighter - incorporating lighter materials for panels, mag wheels as standard, PCCBs as standard too (most likely), GT3 RS motor, thinner glass, manual only. All this is speculation

Question mark about the SMFW.

Doesn’t work with 991.2 and later hollow crankshaft…

Can you elaborate on more carbon fibre?

Are we talking exposed CF stripes or just carbon panels painted over?

Thanks

The 911ST is the only 992 that I am personally looking forward to. Can't wait for it to be unveiled later this year.
