Not all of us think it's necessary to wait that long. I would be properly annoyed by it.

Totally understand that and I know there are accelerated break in methods.

Can Porsche deny a warranty claim if they check the logs and the car wasn't broken in as stated in the manual?

Yep, actually 1500km (932 miles) under 7,000 rpm. Even shows in the dashboard screen now in all markets the same, AFAIK...

I think it does give a soft limiter at 7k rpm if the oil temp is below 140F. Otherwise, you have to be your own nanny...

Default arrived with eagle F1

Goodyears on mine. Haven't had these before. Have not stressed them yet, but I can say they are definitely not change-outs.

Compared to PS2s I have on another car, the F1s to me seem quieter and maybe a tiny bit less harsh. Definitely less road noise. The fronts are like velcro but I have been able to get the rears to step out which I was a little surprised at. HOWEVER this is not a fair criticism because they are still very new and only running on the street. Seem to track very nicely although I haven't had them on any nasty grooved surfaces, high crowns, etc.

But still, a pleasant surprise thus far. Easily daily-drivable. Now let's see how long they last.

I got my photos on 8/25 (my car still isn't on a boat as of today). I have Cups 2s on mine. If I lived in a place where it was warm and dry I would keep them on the car. I have PS4Ss at the dealer waiting for the car - it will definitely see cold and potentially rain.

Very nice, I got mine since April 22. it has Cup 2s. Its way too hard for the roads, I don't track. What would you recommend for a more softer road drive?

Pirellis Pzero Corsas, arrived Friday. No driving yet to compare but always been a fan of PS4S on street cars.
