Default Touring - silver vs black trim

Just curious as to who chose the silver vs black trim on their Touring and what wheels and exterior colors they chose. I’ve seen gentian blue and black cars with neodyme wheels and silver window trim, but was also wondering if anyone who chose dark silver wheels went with black or silver trim.

I started with silver wheels + silver trim but decided to switch to dark silver wheels + black trim for Oak Green. The 992 has very modern lines, I thought the car looked a little bizarre to have the futuristic light arc + RSR mouth and classic silver trim from a different era. YMMV though.

I like silver on dark colors and black on light colors. YMMV.

My CWM 992s is silver wheels and black window trim. My CWM GT3t will be all silver, think it looks better to me. Carl

So a medium blue car could look good in both silver and black trims?

I ordered a touring in Shark blue with silver wheels. At least I think I did- I changed my mind so much I’m not really sure what I ended up with🤣.

I change my mind a lot as well. Currently trying to figure out if the silver or black trim works better with the dark silver wheels on a San Marino Blue Touring. Honestly, it could all change again right up until my lock date

I think it would look good either way on SMB. I'd *probably* go silver.

I peronally think that if you're going with silver trim, you also need to go silver wheels. Pics I've seen of silver trim with any other wheels doesn't sit right (IMO).

Where as black trim is neutral, and doesn't really affect wheel choice.

FWIW I am Carbon Steel Grey, black trim, silver wheels. I did go back and forth on whether to go silver trim. Would have been happy with either.

Carbon Steel Gray is a beautiful color. Congrats!

One of Porsche’s press cars had neodyme wheels on a Gentian blue car with silver trim and I think the black one with neodyme/silver trim may have also been a press car - so someone thought it all worked together.

FWIW, here are different wheel colors on SMB. I think the silver wheels need the silver trim for balance, the black and dark silver look good with the black trim. The other wheels are close to neodyme.

+1.

PS: Asked for Neodyme CXX on the exterior trim, but sadly Germany came with with... "not feasible"...
