Yeah, the 2023 and 2024 prices are in the high 280s, low 300s. These model years had a significant based MSRP increased by Porsche, so I think the original owners paid a lot more, including the ADM.
That’s why I think there is value in purchasing a 2022 model as you can get it a little bit cheaper
obviously not much has been done to the car itself in terms of changes between 2022 and 2024

I read somewhere that base msrp on the 992.2 is going to be 199k. Option increases will put a non PTS car probably at 260k and a full option car well over 300k.

MSRP on my PTS/EM Touring was almost 260k. + TTL and PPF its a 300k endeavor. A car with base catalogue paint and all the right options is 225k+ msrp now.

Lots of people say there is some ‘stigma’ about them which leads to lower selling prices on BAT… never understood that, but regardless they do bring less $$
My theory is that most people need / want financing to purchase these cars and financing a Canadian car can be tricky, so in return Canadian cars appeal to only cash buyers??
Im currently not aware of an ‘already imported GT3’ that was sold in the US… just cars that are still in Canada

For ultra rare cars or older classic cars where country of origin doesn't matter as much, I'd import.

The concerns I hear are that Canada has some snowy/salty parts and rust and cold weather can impact cars (generally not an issue for high end sports cars like a GT3, which aren't usually driven in winter), and that a person might never know the vehicle's full history (I don't get this either bc Canada has Carfax).
Canada-origin cars seem to sell for less across the board from what I've seen.

I'm originally also from North TX but now in SEA. One thing I learned moving here - U.S. dealers, at least in this region, regularly import cars from Canada and as such, you're still able to finance them like any other car.

Sounds nice. Cpo or no (those still transfer private sale right)? Does it have a yellow roll cage? And black gt3 stickers on the side? I remember one like that for sale. 218k is a good msrp make sure it has the options you want (front lift, pdls+ etc) full clear bra or partial would be nice. If they know the market they’ll ask 50K+ over msrp but maybe you’ll do better . Good luck!
