Most all CA dealerships are stealers and to be avoided like the black plague.

Many new buyers too who are not previous Porsche customers or very unloyal customers at least. Customers who buy cars and SELL back the cars to the selling dealer and have done so consistently and honestly often pay msrp still at least if the dealer isn't on the the east or west coast.

A Porsche, let alone a GT3, is not a basic necessity that everyone needs to survive or an ingredient to run a business. So, price gouging does not apply here. Everyone has options. Sellers have the right to sell at market value and everyone has the right to buy or not to buy.

There’s not a single other dealer I’ve heard of that is not honoring the ADM once the order is sold. It’s past the line of egregious. Some friends work at Beverly Hills Porsche, Rusnak, Porsche South Bay, and Porsche DTLA. All of them are at the top when it comes to ADM demands, however, they will honor the deal regardless of the market conditions once your order ultimately arrives.

I’m a lucky one, my local dealer took care of me and I will 100% be trading in with them and continuing to buy from them. I don’t think it’s out of line to keep this information public so the bad actors will pay later for their ethical violations.

when things return to normal, it will be too easy to choose your dealer. Don’t shop at Woodland Hills.

Fair enough and agreed. Using information and leverage in any market is also expected. If you do sell it back to the dealer ultimately regardless of what the market is commanding at that time for the car, just remember to leave a little on the bone from them. Selling it back to them is one requirement but allowing them to make a little money is the second. Delicate balance but works with reasonable minds working together in good faith. This enhances a mutually beneficial relationship that hopefully continues with more allocations. Some people get amnesia however and greed sets in. Regardless, getting allocations in the future might be tougher even for long time clients as there are too few cars and to many parties wanting allocations. Dealers are under attack and I'm sure in tough situations given the current demand. I suspect many who sell this allocation might be in jeopardy of not getting as regular followup allocations as in the past and will find themselves once used to paying sticker to seek, find and pay mode - myself included. I just am not really on the Porsche hamster wheel like I used to be with lots of car buying. It was kind of exhausting but I will always buy what they will allow me in the GT world at least.

Would not be surprised if the buyer ends up black listed from PCNA as a result of this flip.

Truth! I don't support the gouging, but this is spot on.

Last I checked, we live in a capitalistic society and businesses, people, dealers, or any market participant are allowed to charge what they can for goods whether it be a car, house, clothes, etc... Think of the alternative of not living in a capitalistic society...

And let's not forget there was this: "New business once-in-a-lifetime opportunity calls for swift liquidation of non-essential assets"
