Here is a 1K example in the same color no PCCB and 214 MSRP that traded at 340K:

That was the peak of the market and that is one of the popular PTS green colors so yeah. I bet my Brewster Green Touring will sell for a hefty premium once I trade it back to my dealer for a .2 Touring.

so that’s all about why Porsche people are unique. I think it is a beautiful color and would love to pay for it.

True, everyone likes what they like. But it's fair to say that the good PTS blues and greens do sell for more.

Well, here's a popular, and awesome 2022 PTS Oak Green Metallic Touring at Porsche Fremont. $309,984 from a $214,810 sticker.
PCCBs, FAL, buckets....

Price is quite a bit higher than recent examples, with much more of a markup

I’m totally accepting of ADMs since it’s a free market- but what’s the phenotype of a buyer paying >$75k over? When the car was being produced, couldn’t you hunt for an allocation if you’re willing to pay that much and get the exact spec you want? Or is it some combination of impatience plus the fact that now you’re waiting for a 992.2 and hoping it’s not a “downgrade”?

Time is money.

And for some people, time is more valuable than money.

the seller also had to pay a commission right?

Yes I see it is small. But to be fair the buying fee is only 5%. Not so bad really in terms of total net fees and not sure that falls in the category of “substantial” or for that matter can “substantially” explain any alleged price difference.

More importantly, not sure how we can know or quantify price differences between BAT and dealers in the first place. We only know dealer asking prices. We don’t know where they actually sell. However, you would agree surely, it is not at ask the vast majority of the time.

It’s 5% capped at $7500. And you are right, it’s not that much compared to what they are listed for at dealerships.

Here's a good 2024 GT3 for sale. I know it's good since it was mine until I got my S/T. https://finder.porsche.com/us/en-US/...&order=closest.

Believe me it was hard to get rid of because I loved it so much. I had front PPF and ceramic coating on entire car. Custom seat inserts and bolster protectors. I even gad custom GT3 puddle lights made in Yellow. My salesman Carl says everyone who sees it on the floor comments on it. I'll soon forget it as I start driving the S/T, I hope.
