992 GT2 RS Speculation
As one of the last, if not the last, ICE 911 GT cars I expect Andy and his team to pull out all the stops with the upcoming 992 GT2 RS.
- non-hybrid, twin-turbo motor producing 775-825hp
- 8,000 rpm redline facilitated by 3D printed pistons and other internal mods
- styling heavily influenced by upcoming GT2 RS 25
- more extensive aero management
- more extensive options package to include a Manthey-sourced kit
- wider front tires
- sub 6:30 Ring time

I think by the time the 992 GT2 RS debuts (assuming it does at all), it will be powered by a hybrid drivetrain.
Because by then the 992.2 will most likely have incorporated some sort of mild hybrid system.

Not to be a contrarian, but the 3.8TT has plenty of juice for those numbers purely based of turbochargers and fueling. I'd love a 4.0, but they don't need that.
This.
Car in photo just screams electric/hybrid. I'd be all for a super lightweight battery assist system which functions mostly for throttle response.

8,000 rpm gets you there easily without any other changes.
Disagree with first statement and agree with second. Keep in mind 992 GT2 RS will be 992.1 not 992.2, same as we saw with 991. It's always the last model rolled out before the mid-cycle update.
Bingo. Tuners are already churning out numbers above my speculated range with the current lump and that's without the benefit of a higher redline.

I started this thread to get away from all the bullsh*t ADM/Value threads. Please lets not send this one into the gutter as well.
