Glovis Sigma is live on the San Diego webcams heading to Benicia...
Sweet. Hopefully no fire, tsunami, earthquake, traffic accident or nearer to me, volcano eruption along the way. Now, if I could only have the same luck @paxton did with a 4-day stint from off loading at Benicia to WA state.
Conductor dropped off my car in Baltimore yesterday and today TYD shows this.
Thats great for you! My car has been sitting @ JAX now since 3/17. Stuck on step 12. I have carpal tunnel from checking the “status” 1173 times a day. It’s like torture. Not sure I enjoy TYD.
When my 981 GT4 was off the ship the tracking then wasn’t trackable. Getting the call on a Sunday from my SA saying he’d opened the dealership to accept delivery, even though the dealership was closed was my NIRVANA moment. As I’ve gotten older, I’ve become less patient.
I have to just pause, and remember I could have easily been on the doomed vessel that sank.
I’m just spoiled and a baby sometimes.

False alarm. SA said it hasnt left Baltimore and it's an issue with TYD

So here it is people, after many months of this roller coaster ride and a tracker that gave me dreams and nightmares on a daily basis, I was able to finally collect my 992 GT3.
Here is a couple of pictures, and for everyone waiting, Hang in there. This car is a total riot!!! Yeah I need a tan, looking pasty white 🤦🏻♂️ Color changes with lighting! I just adopted this frog 🐸 Python green, PCCBs, Manual, Buckets, gold wheels.
Debating whether or not to drive over to Benicia to take a picture as Glovis Sigma goes by enroute to the dock
It’ll be evening,
Here’s a webcam where you’ll likely be able to see it coming through the Golden Gate. If the schedule holds sometime after 6pm, but also depends on tides, so you’ll have to check live vessel tracking data. https://www.goldengate.org
Maybe the best would be to go to “The Dead Fish” restaurant in Crockett for a beer and watch it sail through the carquinez bridge…I may opt for that.
Or,…I’ll try to find a good vantage point to take pictures during unloading if there is still usable light. Benicia clock tower maybe? There is only one place where it can be docked to unload.
Has anyone with a car on Siem Cicero seen TYD update to "en route to dealer" or heard from their SA the car is on truck? Wondering how port processing is going in Houston. My car still shows as "on vessel" but I'm guessing that is incorrect by now.
