Glovis Comet has been sitting in English Channel for two days. Kind of an odd track; now sitting still.

Don’t think you are, but probably the only one admitting it ;-)
If I can manage to coordinate, I was thinking of taking a picture of the GS coming through the Golden Gate on its way to Benicia….the Benicia port authorities won’t allow me to go to the dock to film the offloading, but I may find another way

Anyone have some prior data on the length of time to arrival in SD to LA dealers?
My CT arrived San Diego on March 4, it’s been port processing since March 7. Delivery to dealer was pushed out to 3/25. There was a boat that arrived with cars before and still no delivery on those cars. So it’s atleast 3-4 weeks at San Diego port. Hoping they release some cars soon!

I even confessed to my wife that watching the ship near San Diego is overly exciting to watch and how fun the experience has been.

Here’s an idea for you and your wife. Book a room at the Loews Coronado’s Bay Resort the night before the GS is due in. It’s right across the bay from the terminal and you should have an awesome view (over a glass of bubbly) as the GS makes port (assuming it’s not in the middle of night). Cheers.

Siem Cicero made good progress and now appears to be holding in the Gulf. Guessing the port is busy. Hopefully it makes it to Houston today!

I was thinking of driving to Crockett or Benicia city to photograph GS sailing by on the way to the dock which is just past and around the point from Benicia. There's hills around the huge offload parking area, might be somewhere to take a photo from there.

I was able to watch the ship go under the Golden Gate with my last delivery. Pretty cool moment.

Very very cool to see that. I was actually thinking if there's any point where it comes close to shore and some random webcam would have it in view. I'm talking about SFL Composer coming from Davisville to Houston now.

How long was it at the Port of Jacksonville? We’re on the SFL Conductor….we’re two ports away from our vehicle arriving in Jax in early April.

4-5 days including weekend. Someone else here had theirs released after 1-2 days so it doesn't seem like it's too backed up at Jax at the moment.

watching the satellite tracking of the composer I don’t think they are going to come close to shore at any point until they are coming into port. Looks as though they are trying to keep right along the edge of the Bahamas territory which is still 12-24 miles from any shore and probably about 100 miles from the Florida coast.
my car is on that one.

That’s where it was about 30 minutes ago.
