In fact, they aren't even given a specific time/day as to when the car carrier arrives at your dealership.
They only get a message that the car is ready/bound for transport.
Pasha Automotive Services does provide for port-processing of cars at Pier 80 at Caesar Chavez Street where your boat is currently docked.
They've been at Pier 80 since inking a contract with SF back in 2016.
Facilities | Pasha Group
You can try calling (619) 419-1200 for info.

It's doubtful that they will know anything.

Thanks for the info! This is interesting. It sounds like some of the cars are being unloaded in SFO now and other cars are going to be unloaded at Benicia on 10/28 and 10/29. Hope my car is unloading in SFO today lol. Will Pasha Automotive Services know anything about my car if I give them the VIN?

The only problem is Porsche still owns those cars, they dont invoice the dealer until they are enroute from the port to the dealer. So I suspect they are not going to disclose anything about them, and have been told all 911's are on hold at the port for the time being.

I just called the sales manager of my dealer. He said he doesn't know about the on hold of 911s. But, he mentioned the Port of Benicia will be on annual audit starting from 10/27, and the cars will be on hold then until the audit is done which is supposed to be early Nov. He also noticed the Glovis Clipper stopped at SFO this morning, but has no idea about whether the Porsche cars will be unloaded in SFO. Let's see how it goes in next few days.

Has anyone received a car during the holidays? My car is supposed to arrive 12/20 at Benencia and supposedly exit within 10 days enroute to the dealer. Should I taper my expectations and expect middle/end of January for delivery or do the crews still work heavily through the winter?

If anything, Porsche most likely wants to get the sale "booked" in the current calendar year.

Awesome! Problem for me is mine is going to an Oregon dealer so it’ll either go on a train or truck so I’m sure that’ll be a week if not long with the holidays and winter snow.

my buddies airtag zip tied to his driver's seat in Germany - is showing it firmly/deeply inside the parking lot area near the front gate of the SFO unloading lot where the Glovis Clipper is still docked at this time - previously it was showing very close to Clipper's docked location and "in the water" - but airtag updates are infrequent and this is now 3+ hours old with no further update
it's not conclusive but is indicative that they may have unloaded some vehicle's at the SFO stop.
here is the latest data set - the airtag update is 3+ hours old - but the ship's location/status is 4 minutes old.

^ very interesting, I think this is the first time we've seen unloading at the SF port? Didn't even know that was a thing these days. Some cruise ships dock at North Beach, but no cargo.

I'm not claiming 100% accurancy - but I agree it's interesting - given that Benicia might be closed due to audits - maybe someone in logistics called an audible and pivoted - again I'm not 100% certain the data we're seeing is accurate - but I've presented what I know - if the ship "leaves" and the airtag remains behind with an update) well then things start to get more interesting…
